Actually, maybe we could combine the ideas: the original heir abdicated, and the queen's sibling, believed to be sterile, was allowed to take her second child as their own)

Suzette Kramer was a gifted girl in many respects. Top of her class at a prestigious high school, gifted in sports and musical instruments, very popular with her peers and elders, and a natural beauty. She had just about anything she could ever want, living in Billings, Montana.

Her life was certainly quite pleasant and happy. But she always wondered if she was ever meant for more.

It still came a surprise to everybody, Suzette most of all, when one day during Midtern week, the intercom came on in her class and announced, "Suzette Kramer, please come to the principal's office."

She had no idea what could've happened. What was it? She approached with anxiousness.

When she got to the principal's office, she found three other people there. Two were her parents, Evan and Katie. The other was a woman in a rather ornate yet old-fashioned dress, which looked like a modern ensemble such as what they wore during the Georgian or Victorian eras.

"What's going on? Who is this?" Suzette asked.

Evan and Katie looked to each other and sighed, as though they did not wish to answer. But Evan ultimately announced, "Sweetie, I would like you to meet my older sister, Verdie... Queen of Baleshtakistan."

"How do you do, sweetie?" she replied with a warm smile. Obviously, Suzette had never known she had an aunt, let alone royalty.

"It's nice to meet you, Auntie. Your Majesty. Queen Aunt. Aunt Your Majesty," she said, stumbling over her words. "I'm sorry; I'm not usually this tongue-tied. I've never met royalty before."

"Oh, it's quite simple. You don't have to call me anything but...Mommy." That definitely made Suzette stop in her tracks. ""You see, Evan here is actually your uncle. I'm your birth mother."
