Hidden blades and hidden nappies
 

Vardas was a young boy wondering the streets of Constantinople he was hungry and desperate after losing his parents due to illness and saw a tall woman walking passed him and he managed to swipe some of her money thinking he had managed to get away with it

But just as he managed to retreat to his private hideaway a few blocks over, he heard a feminine voice said behind him, "You could have just asked for money if you were that desperate."

He dropped the money and started to nervously wet himself. I-I’m sorry ma’am do what ever you want to me please don’t calm the guards though

Instead of striking or yelling at him, the woman just smiled and moved to embrace him. "It is alright, my dear. I know what it is like, not knowing where your next meal will come from. And I of all people have no right to judge you for trying to survive."

W-what you aren’t going to hit me or anything thank you so much ma’am. He teared up a little bit

The woman chuckled and said, "I AM inclined to spank you, but it would seem you've already humbled yourself in the fashion. So I have a better idea."

What are you going to do to me ma’am ? Vardas blushed noticing his soaked pants

"Please, call me Derya," the hooded woman bade him. "And I do not intend to hurt you. But I am going to have to ask you to trust me." She then lifted Vardas into her arms.

Ok ma’am I trust you and my name is Vardas it’s nice to meet someone so kind

She just smiled, before moving him onto her back. "Hold on tight," she bade him, before she ran to the nearest wall and jumped onto it, scaling it like a cat until she got to the roof. She then began to sprint across the rooftops, effortlessly skipping from house to house.
