Usagi was heading off to her house today after the big test she was very embarrassed about her grades and hid them in her backpack hoping her mother wouldn’t find them. Little does she know her life will change later

Ikuko was in the kitchen, working on dinner, when she heard the front door open.


Turning around, she saw her oldest child, Usagi, come in.


"Ah, Usagi! How did the big test go today? I hope you remembered to study for it instead of spending all day at the arcade."

Uh… yeah I did but…. They won’t give us the results until tomorrow ok she fibbed as she tried to walk away

As Usagi tried to sneak away, Ikuko grabbed her backpack.


"Is that so? You won't mind me taking a look in here, then?"

Eeeh nonono no need to worry about that she said panicking afraid of what will happen

Sighing, Ikuko rummaged through the backpack for the test she knew was in there at this point, finding it poorly hidden at the bottom.


"Usagi, this is an unacceptable grade! More than that, you lied to me about it?"

I’m sorry mom I got distracted and I’m already paying the price she said panicking

Ikuko sighed.


"You really need to grow up, Usagi. These tests are important for you! ...Just go and get ready for dinner. We'll talk about this in the morning, okay?"

Ok mom I’ll get ready she said sad as she walked to her room where her talking cat Luna was

Having overheard the whole conversation, Luna was ready to lay into Usagi the moment the door closed.


"Your mother does have a point, Usagi. If you took some responsibility for once and actually focused, you could improve as a student and a Sailor Scout. You just need to grow up a bit."
