Wish Upon a Teddy
 

One day, a high school senior was walking home, stressed by all the work she had to do that week.

Emily huffed and kicked a rock as she made her way home. God school was killing her, she had so much homework she wasn't sure how she was going to get it all done it time. As she walked she came across a store that had just opened up so she went in and took a look around.

It was an antique store full of old treasures. One in particular caught her eye's attention: a teddy bear with a pink bow.

She walked over to the bear and picked it up. She give it a look over. "You're kinda cute. To bad I'm to old to play with you"

"What do you mean, 'too old'?" A woman nearby, presumably the store's owner, asked.

She looked over and shrugged "oh. Nothing" she sat the bear down "just that people my age don't normally play with dolls that's all"

"Who's to say you can't be the exception?"

"I guess your right" she looks back at the bear. "I just don't want people to make fun of me."

"Sweetie, they won't. I promise." The woman said kindly.

"
She thought for a moment "ok I'll take the bear" looked back at the woman
