Why Do You Wear? (The Original "Why You Like Diapers" Thread)
 

Well, its just as it says. Its a straight forward question, but I bet it's one you've not asked yourself truly and deeply. Some have, some just do with their feelings without much thought. Now you can! Since it is as integral a part of our fetish, be you DL or AB, to like/wear diapers, I'm just a little curious to know, why? What about them is so great that we want to wear them, especially DLs. Why are diapers so appealing to us as people?

It would be unfair to ask you guys without telling you my personal explanation. So here it is:

I took a considerable amount of time to think about this. I did so both diapered and not, to truly collect my thoughts. Until I thought about it, I'll be frank and say I really had no reason why I wore diapers. However, after a good amount of actually giving the topic some thought, I was able to come up with something that would suffice as a proper reason.

In the end what I like most about diapers would be the thickness and substance of the diaper itself. It's snug, cushy and fluffy, kind of like a thin pillow affixed to my bottom. It's wholly erotic, most of the time, for me. I really like the way it looks, not just on myself, but on others. It's a part of the roleplay in AB stuff, but in DL play, it's part of the entire arousal. A vehicle of arousal, even.

However I'd be only half truthful if I said that was all. My dual favorite thing about diapers is wetting them. To me that's hard to say, seeing as I try to provide a tough guy, or cool guy persona in my own social niche, however I'll not lie to you guys, my friends. I love wetting, the warmth, the feeling as it cools, the way a wet diaper actually looks. I dunno, that's my answer lol.

That's a good question Arukan. So here is my story:

When i was about 12 or so I still loved to wear diapers. I did it secretly while I played normally in my room. There was a feeling of happyness and I felt little again (Well I am and was still little) I took my dolls diapers and baby diapers I had for it. I also liked to wet them, for the same reason as Arukan. By now it's a long time since i had last wore one and not living alone makes it difficult o make it again.

I my reasons also revolve around comfort, thickness and warmth. They just feel so snug. And don't get me started on the convenience...:p

Great answers so far! For me it's alot of things, but I think that the main one is it's sort of a stress reliever for me. After putting one on, I just sort of feel so relaxed and content, like all the stress from the day is melting away. It seems to amplify if I happen to be sucking my thumb, (Which I still do in my sleep), or if I'm drinking from a baby bottle. The other reasons are much like alot of other peoples. The wetting, the thickness, the material itself, and even the smell are all factors.

Also, putting a soft, comfy diaper on a stinging bottom after a spanking is really nice. ^_^

The comfort, I think babies are the most relaxed beings there are. Just the subliminal message my body gets is amazing. I feel really relaxed.

It comes across as odd to you when you think about it for the first time. You don't really know why you want to do it, but I know that I made up my mind about the fact that it was an enjoyable activity. The real selling point for me was the fact that when I put one on, I'm not really an adult anymore. I come out of the real world and get into a cool, safe place where you can just be yourself and do what you want to do without being embarrassed about it.

The erotic part of it was a huge piece of the whole thing for myself, as well. I wasn't really young, around 16, and I felt really good wearing bulky items, since I was outgrowing my clothes at a rapid pace before and was now settling into a fairly static size. I didn't really consider wearing diapers until I ran across a site that isn't in service anymore, Sissybecky.com, and felt something that I hadn't before in my life. I felt warm, like this would answer my problems with what was wrong, and when I put on my first diaper I felt like I wasn't ever going to take it off.

After awhile, it wasn't just about the issues that I had with my clothes anymore. I genuinely enjoyed, and still enjoy to this day, the way that a diaper feels. I moved up to using things like rompers and onesies to encourage an environment that made me really feel like I was going back to my baby and toddler years. I also have a few other things like bonnets, pacifiers, booties and what have you, that assist in the reverting process to make the whole experience that much more satisfying.

I usually don't go through the process of getting into the whole ensemble all the time, and sometimes I just look at stories on the net to see what other people do to enjoy themselves, most of which I get from www.petticoated.com. But on those nights when I really feel like it, I'll usually slip into my pink onesie and zip myself up to read some old stories and listen to music before going to bed. The feeling of cotton surrounding me while I suck on my pacifier and drift off to sleep really calms me down, and helps me relax after a hard day.

I wear them because I just plain love them :D especially since for the fact that I have been wearing diapers all my life because I've had very poor bowel control. And I think diapers make me look so cute :D

I like wearing diapers for a number of reasons. One is stress relief. and not using the washroom doing a xbox live match. XD. But I like coming home, putting on a fresh diaper and listening to disturbed or other types of music. ^_^
