Jani was sitting in the corner of the foster care place holding a teddy bear tightly. He looked around at the others that were there and went back to hugging his teddy.

Hikari walked into the foster care home and looked around, her gentle lavender eyes searching for a young child to adopt. She was still looking at the children present when she saw a young brown haired boy off on his own in the cornerholding a teddy bear. She tapped the shoulder of the Matron. "Excuse me, but who's that young boy in the corner?" She asked in a kind voice that sounded like beautiful harp.

The Matron turned around and looked at Hikari. "His name is Jani Seguchi. He's been here since he was three. He's been adopted about ten times only to be brought back here a few days later. Are you looking to adopt him?" She asked.

Hikari looked at Jani, surprised at the fact that he had been adopted and rejected so much. "But why would anyone reject such an innocent looking boy?" She asked before her gaze hardened. "I wish to adopt him immediately. I will not allow that poor boy to suffer anymore abandonment." She said seriously as her wings started flapping in her determination.

"Ok. I'm gonna tell you a few things about him. He's never been potty trained and he's also a mute. He's also very shy. Please follow me, I have some forms for you to fill out." The Matron said. She walked behind the desk and grabbed some paperwork. "Is there anything else you'd like to know? Allergy's, medical history?"

Hikari nodded. "Yes please. I would like to know of any allergies and his medical information, including blood type and such. I don't want to take any risks with my new son." She said professionally.

The Matron looked at Jani's file. "He's allergic to erythromycin, bees, peanuts, and strawberries. He's also up to date with his shots and vaccines. His blood type is A-positive."

(Erythromycin is an antibiotic.)

Hikari nodded. "Thank you for the information. So, where do I start signing so that I can take Jani home with me?" She asked in a perky tone once more with a warm smile on her face.

The Matron pointed to a few places. "Just these area's. I'll be right back. I have to pack his things." She smiled and went to pack Jani's things.

Jani looked at the front desk and saw someone signing some papers. He figured she was here to adopt someone else and went back to playing with his teddy bear.

Hikari actually pricked her finger and let the blood drip to her fingernail before she signed the areas she needed to in blood, one of the most binding ways a demoness could make a deal, promise or adoption.
