The Cost of Mischief: KH BBS AU (Private)
 

This one's for myself and AD-SD-ChibiGirl. As always, though, feel free to read along. (Heaven only knows we're more entertaining than most of the fanfiction, and we update quicker, too!)

For the past few weeks, Eraqus had been swamping his older students with work. The man was sure Xehanort was up to something, and was sending the older Keyblade wielders out to investigate. This, however, meant that poor little Ventus was left alone in the temple for days, at times. Eraqus refused to send him out for fear of Vanitas finding him. However, having Ventus sitting around meant he was bored. And what's a preteen to do when he's bored? Eraqus had been finding out the answer for a while now.

"VENTUS!" he called through the hallways, tapping a foot in irritation. While he wasn't exactly angry, he was certainly rather irritated with this last one.

The kitchen? Covered in Chocolate cake batter as well as powdered Sugar. Ventus was either really hyper, wanted to make a cake, or was just wanted to throw the batter around. He came over, covered in batter himself and his Blond hair looking lighter from the sugar in his hair. Baby blue eyes looked up at his master with a sheepish grin.

"H-Hi master" The boy said still grinning.

"Ventus..." began the man, but then sighed in frustration. "Clean up the mess, and then go out and train. Perhaps then you can burn off some of this energy."

"Okay!" Ventus seemed excited about getting to go outside and train as he got to work on cleaning the kitchen. In truth, the boy was kinda hoping to get his Master's and Friend's attention since they've been ignoring him and been very busy. Usually they seemed to blow him off on things so most of the time he was by himself.

Eraqus walked back off to his private rooms to meditate. "I'm going to be meditating for a while, Ventus. Terra and Aqua will not be back until this evening."

"Kay!" Ventus said as he was cleaning. After this he would need to clean himself up and then training.

Ventus finished taking his shower and was back in his room looking for his clothes. He kept searching in his drawers when he stopped and spotted something in his drawer.

Eraqus was settled in to a deep state of meditation, feeling out around the temple, simply relishing the peace.

Ventus picked it up, it was an object used in something he didn't know. It contained some kind of cushion like bag inside of it that activated when struck with immense force. He stared at it then got a wicked smile as he hurried down to the kitchen, wondering what it would do if he put it in the microwave.

One of Eraqus' eyes snapped open. "My idiot senses are tingling..." he mumbled to himself. He stood and hurried down to the lower temple levels.

Ven began to put in how long the microwave would go, maybe it would do something cool! And he could show everyone else. He had set the timer for 3 minutes just as he put the object into it.
