Alexandra, short for Alex, was a young ranger, thief and adventurer. She had been through various battles and quests with her best friend, but this time, it did not go too well.
“So, you two dared to steal my jewel?” said a witch sitting in front of them. She caressed a dark jewel, which was in her hand.
Both girls were tied to the chairs they were sitting on.
“Well, when you say it like this... it sounds bad...” she stuttered. “I ... I mean we are young and need the money!”

This is how Alex looks.

" and steal is such a ugly word I prefer liberate. " Fray said.

The witch glared at them.
“So... liberate?” she said. “Freeing me of a burden?” She mumbled a bit, thinking about the words.
Alex said:” Well, we helped you to relief yourself, ma’am.” She tried to grin.
“Well, how about if I help you too relief yourself?” said the witch.
“Ehh... I can’t really follow you, ma’am.” said Alex.
The witch giggled. “This is it! This will help you to remember me! It is perfect!” she said. She stood up and walked to a bookshelf. In it, she searched, until she found a book, titled ‘The Great Curses of Umbra’. She opened it and searched in it for a while.
“There we go, my dear children, there we go.” she said. “This curse is just perfect. It is nasty, really, really nasty.”
Meanwhile, Alex was trying to get hold of a knife, she hid in her shoes.

Fay took a deep breath. a second later she was actually snapping the ropes the dound her. after all welding such a massive sword as easily as she can must mean something

The witch turned around.
“So, I shall curse you!” she said and blew some black powder on them.
“Shut up, old hag.” said Alex who managed to cut the ties and threw the knife at the witch.
“EYYY!” the witch yelled, obviously hurt by the attack.

Fray broke free and grabbed her sword before cleaving the witch and building in two

Alex grinned.
“Good job.” she said and stepped over to the disfigured corpse of the witch. She took the jewel.
“I am sure, she does not need that anymore.” she said smiling and put it in her bag. She also grabbed the old book.
“What do you think, could we sell that one?” she asked Fray.

" nah theres enough loony witchs and mages as it is plus I took out the building's support so we should really get out before the place caves. " Fray said

She nodded and shoved it into her bag. Then she grinned at Fray.
“Let’s run.” she said, running through the corridors of the castle. Finally, in the last second, both managed to get out.
“Whoa! That was a close thing.” she said, while watching the castle breaking down.
