Kingdom Hearts: Of Past Memories
 

The Land of Departure: it is One of the few worlds that rest between the Realm of Light and the Realm of Darkness. Within this world, test known as the Mark of Mastery took place here many times during it's existance. A Mark of Mastery is when a Keyblade weilder is examined to see if they have what it takes to become a true Keyblade Master. Two students now are training in this world to take such a test, both training just as hard as the other. However, even though no strange weather has occured there in many years, today was an exception, for a mysteripus thunder storm has formed, which is lasting for hours, creating worry on the two students and their Master of their homeworlds town.

She couldn't move, couldn't scream, couldn't think. All she could do was feel, and she was in agony at the moment. Her entire body felt like it was on fire as every molecule seemed to change. An unfamiliar pulsing sensation formed in the center of her body.

With everything she was experiencing, she didn't notice her memories beginning to slip away, deep into her subconsciousness. Nor did she hear what was being done to her or why. She did not hear her purpose.

After several hours, the girl was suddenly launched downwards. A bolt of lightning formed around her, and together the struck the ground with tremendous force. The girl was surprisingly unharmed, though it would not last as she was currently naked in pouring thunder storm. Unconscious, the girl did not notice the large Key embedded in the ground next to her.

A blue-haired woman ran through the forest, ignoring her Master's orders to stay inside the temple until the storm passed. Her worry became too strong for her to bear, and just wanted to see the town unharmed, not even noticing how freezing cold the rain was. However, something haulted her when she came to a clearing, making her gasp at the sight before her....

The unconscious girl had black stranded hair, parts sticking to her face due to the rain. The ground around her had been torn up by the lightning bolt, and was now becoming muddy, conveniently giving the nude girl some cover, though if not moved quickly would cover her completely.

Just outside the pit the girl laid in, the Kingdom Keyblade stood upright, embedded in the ground as the rain continued to pour down on the world.

"A Keyblade..." the woman said quietly to herself. While she wished to see the town, for some mysterious reason, this girl seemed more important. Rushing over to the girl, she managed to pick her up and support the unconsious girl with one arm while she unsheathed the Keyblade from the ground, then hurried on back to the temple, being very careful not to let the girl slip from her arms.

A brown haired young man was waiting at the front entrance of what was his home, pacing worriedly. His name was Terra, and he was waiting for his friend to return from the storm. He had warned the girl about going out in the storm, yet for once she had paid him no heed and had rush off. With a sigh, he stared outside, a worried expression on his face.

From what was visible through the pouring rain, the woman's silhouette appeared, as well as the girl's she was carrying. She soon appeared into full view, huffing for air. "Terra, get this girl some towels, and quickly." the drenched woman instructed. "And take this Keyblade...with you. I...assume that it's hers. I'll alert the Master of her."

Terra had rushed forward upon seeing the girl appear. "Of course Aqua." Terra replied. He quickly took the girl in his arms, and put the keyblade under his arm before rushing inside. The girl felt cold in his arms, and wasn't shivering. From his medical lessons, he knew that wasn't a good sign.

He made his way to the nearest bathroom. Setting the girl down on the floor, he turned the warm water on in the tub, and went outside the bathroom to the closet next to it to grab some towels.

Aqua hurried through the halls, searching for her Master's room, ignoring how she was shaking like a frightened dog from the ice cold rain. Where did that girl come from was what she was wondering. She couldn't have been from this world, or else her Master would have known about the girl a long time ago. And why was she just out there, laying on the ground completely expose?

Terra quickly began wiping the mud off the girl. He blushed when he saw she was naked under the mud, but shook his head; keeping the girl alive was more important then her modesty at the moment.

Once done cleaning the girl as best he could, he checked the temperature of the water in the tub, and bit back a curse as he nearly scolded his hand. Draining some of the water from the tub, as it was nearly overflowing, he turned on the cold water; it wouldn't do to scold the girl.
