Vanille watched as a boulder fell from a ledge above and crashed down on the bridge she had just crossed. "Ooh! How are Sazh and Hope going to catch up now?" she asked in worry.

" they'll find a way. we should move on before PSI-COM finds us. get what ever you need from the Online shop before we leave. " Lightning said.

"I think I'll be fine for now." Vanille insisted, then made a slight grimace. "All this junk smells for it being mainly metal."

" its from Pulse so maby organic materials are mixed in. you ok? you seem uncomfortable......panties bunching with all this running. " Lightning joked

"Yeah." Vanille giggled. "But...I'm just a little worried about PSICOM finding us, that's all."

" yeah there grunts are green but if there elites hit the field its over. If your ready then we leave. stay low and hidden. " Lightning said running ahead.

"Oka-hey! Wait up!" Vanille took chase after Lightning. There were monsters here if not soldiers, and she definately didn't want to face any alone. However, she ended up tripping over a scrape of metal, and landed face first into the dirt. "Ouch!"

Lightning stopped. " enough I can't deal with PSI-COM while babysitting you! " Lightning suddenly snapped due to stress.

however before anything could be said Lightning's brand erupted in a red light and the Eidolin Odin stood before Vanile ready to strike. Lightning reacted and just barley stopped Odin's sword with her own. " Vanile move! I can't hold this thing much longer! " Lightning Yelled

Vanille was quick to obey, and managed to run around Odin with ease. She didn't just want to leave Lightning behind and fight alone, but.....

What Vanille did was she kept a safe distance while hiding, praying for Lightning's safety.

soon enough a winded Lightning found Vanile. " listen.....Im sorry I over stepped my bounds. " Lightning said before a odd sent reached her nose. " nice hiding spot..hmmm we rest hear...whats that smell? " Lightning asked
