Do signatures have to be approved before being shown?

I just uploaded my signature picture and text but when I post it is nowhere to be seen. :(

go back to edit signature and click the insert signature picture button ok

you missed out the closing tag for entering a signature, took the liberty of fixing it for you consequently it now shows up.
