His Second Chance (Private, with RaVeN)

On the west coast of the United States lies the deep, free state of California. About seventy miles off of Riverside is where this story begins, at a rich adoption facility known as the Dai Hebun Network, or Dai Hebun Foster Agency. Roughly translating to 'Second Haven', it is a facility meant as a care home for children without parents or guardians to take care of them. The outside of the mansion-like home is covered in a well-tended garden blooming flowers of all varieties and colors, creating an unparalleled beauty of the finest remark.

The inside of the care home is no less than premium, with velvet carpets, pictures of famous children's heroes, beautiful decorations and housing furniture of the highest quality. This was no poorhouse. There was enough beds and seats for every child there, to say the least. It was a privately-funded organization, and a government-approved facility, being a first-choice for nearby kids who have lost their homes and carers.
For any child, it should be a dream-come-true, as if being raised by the richest and wealthiest of people.

However, this home had a dark, dark secret underneath it, that could not be excused or forgiven... But that secret's outing is not to be revealed at this time.

Instead, we'll begin with Gene Silver, one of the primary staff workers.
Standing at about five foot, eleven inches (5' 11"), he was a fairly regular sized man.
He stood outside the facility's main gates, waiting for some guests to arrive.
Dressed in a black, high-class suit complete with tie and perfect-fitting shoes, a fine fit from head to toe, he stood there with his hands behind his back, looking left and right down the street's road, just waiting for an expecting car to arrive. It was about time, although they were a tad late, but since the expected guests were from another part of the country, perhaps they were using a rental car, or taking a taxi. He wasn't entirely sure what he was looking for without a phone call.

Nonetheless, he stood, and he waited patiently. He could wait all day if he needed to.
