Maia had a miner's headlamp with a small flame burning at the end that barely illuminated the distance in front of her. The forest she was in was within the village's walls but even if the most dangerous creatures here had already hunted, there was still the possibility of severe injury.
As it were, she moved slowly and methodically through the undergrowth. It was then she found her prize: a vine with golden flowers on it that glowed softly in the humid night air. She used her machete to cut a long coil and wrapped it around her arm. These were glow-vines, utterly invaluable for treatment of nearly all diseases.

Redcrest switched places with the Human who had rode his horse with them. The man unrolled a blanket and lay down on it, quickly falling asleep.
He chittered slightly as he kept an eye out for danger. His diaper was noticibly heavier than when he had went to sleep but he ignored it as he had a tendency to mess his diaper while asleep.
