Asriel sat up next to his sister, letting out a yawn and rolling out of her bed. The boy stretched a little, and yawned again. The room hadn't changed much. They still had most of the same decorations and stuffed animals and even posters from when they were children. Back then... Frisk hadn't let him go. They were so little, just children at the time no older than 6 or 7... and yet, he'd told her to leave him and go to the surface. He knew there was no other way. He didn't have a soul. He was going to fade away, back into that flower. And yet, Frisk hadn't left him. She'd done something only a human could. She split her soul in half, and given it to him. He hadn't wanted her to do that, but she did and they'd both been alive ever since. He couldn't help but feel guilty about it from time to time...
