I do RP with trainers, but I myself personally like to use Pokemon for myself. Not limiting other people to only what I want. But if you want me to, I will also use a Trainer character. And kakarot, I won't limit myself to just an Alolan Vulpix, or just male either. I just like using the Alolan Vulpix more. Gender doesn't have any limitations. Hope this answers both of you.
