Oh, no. I'm sorry if my introduction came off in any way negative towards this community or gave a suspicious image of my intentions. I have total respect towards everyone in this community and have no intentions or desire to offend anyone in any way. I meant every word, I'm here simply to research and do some creative writing to challenge myself in that, and I don't think of you guys and gals as any kind of experiment or strange. You're simply a group of people who have different interests/needs than I and can help me broaden my understanding and knowledge in the field of human psychology - which as I said I am very interested in in general. I do fully acknowledge that everyone's reasons for enjoying whatever they enjoy and doing what they do is individual, and did and do know that not all adult-babies are into it for sexual reasons. I had and have no intentions of generalizing anything or to make bold assumptions about anything.
I needed a username I can easily remember/associate with this site. So I took it after Copper the dog from Disney's Fox and the Hound. In that movie one of my favouorite scenes is when the old lady adopts the orphaned baby fox, and as she feeds him milk from a bottle she remarks what a cute little toddler he is and through that comes up with his name, Todd, (from the word "toddler".) I would have actually preferred Todd as he's my favourite character in the movie but it as a username wasn't available.

You've certainly set yourself one hell of a challenge though , this is kind of one of those things where you need to be one to fully 'know' every aspect and avoid the outsider looking in situation. I suppose putting yourself into one's shoes can be a good way to start.

I know, which is why I wouldn't start writing based on just what the Dr. Phil Show offers or on website surf results. I know Dr. Phil Show to not have covered important and essential aspects about a matter when they really really should have in order to give viewers the correct image of the matter, though generally I do respect Dr. Phil and think his show is great source of help and information for countless people. There just are some things he could do better in with the informing aspect. And I can't think of a better place to really learn about anything than a place where you can read the thoughts of and discuss with the actual people and colourful individuals of the community on the specific matter. Of course I'm not about to join every single community there can be just to learn about human psychology, I stick to what is harmless - like this.
And yes, I acknowledge that as an outsider it could still be remarkably difficult to write such character, with the lack of personal ability to identify/relate to the character at all. Which is why it at this point is indeed just a consideration/interest to try but I'm not about to hurry into it. Would rather research further and see if I really feel like I can write such a character without fear of misportraying anything as nothing is more important to me than being respectful and appropriate when wiriting on human psychology. There is a chance I'll end up writing here only about actual toddlers and their carers which as I mentioned is also a nice challenge for me as a writer as I am not used to writing about very young child characters. That's certainly what I'll be starting out with.

I'm researching for creative writing. As a creative writer I enjoy digging into my characters and human psychology, to write deep and relatable characters and stories. I'd like to broaden/strengthen my skill to write about different types of people in a realistic way while I always do my best to do so responsibly and respectfully as in I don't just jump into writing about a psychology field area I don't know enough about.
Thank you, everyone, for the nice and warm welcome posts! And for the informative links which I will certainly look into when I get the chance!
