and is much easier to understand words, there was a unique identifier (known as an IP) which was assigned to the server which wasnt supposed to be assigned which was set as a black hole which gobbled up all the requests
hosts and other types of providers do this sometimes when denial of service attacks happen, in this case the IP was assigned to our server when it shouldnt have been so that spesific IP had to be removed before the site could come back up.
