"Oh, just something stupid that I accidentally picked up at dad's," she explained, setting the device down, "Probably just a stupid toy gun." Of course, Vanessa knew it was probably an inator, which was confirmed when it fired a ray on it's own right at Charlene. "Mom!!!" she cried. Figures her dad would make a device that could set itself off at the slightest of movements. However, the ray would change things for Vanessa for days to come, making things a little interesting for her.
