“Oh, I just can’t wait to find out what sort of little cutie you turn out to be!” Jill said with a sing in her voice, looking down at the Pokémon egg in her arms. She couldn’t tell if this one was bigger than the others she’d found previously or if it was just her imagination, but it’s bulwark size didn’t help her but to make her look even smaller by comparison.

Jill had always wanted to be treated her age but being the smallest of her brothers and sisters by a wide margin (and not because she was the youngest of the family) earned her lots of mocks both from her younger siblings treating her as if she were a child and her older siblings who bought silly gifts for her or spoke to her just a little differently.

It was... Difficult, but she didn’t have to be around them anymore.
