Elliot rubbed her eyes a little, "N-no I'm okay," she stammered, "I can control myself I really don't need this."
She felt relaxed in Carla's arms.
At least it wasn't all bad but that didn't stop her from feeling hurt by the way her parents were acting and treating her.
