Gweir chuckled "I like your enthusiasm September , but maybe wait until we're on the ship. One of us I think would like a change with his medical check" he chuckled "While you're up why not introduce yourself" he asked from his position , wanting to more about the little medic. If Gweir was honest he didn't like the look of the mission. It was one of 'those' missions. Had strange written all over it. He hoped the cadets were fine. But something told him otherwise. On the other hand Danny looked capable. He made a note to visit the workshop and see what they had been equipped with. Gweir looked down at his notepad again. He had the option to make some rules for the ship before launch and he had some recommendations. He was thinking of banning solo changes. Luke looked like he could use the supervision as did September. Danny was a mystery. Cody at least seemed capable.
Luke gazed at him "really? Aww , we get told of all sorts of stories see." he said as he looked up at September, he was going to have to explain a lot to him about his needs. The mission itself didn't sound good. Then again he was chosen for one of the best ships so a tough first mission was not unexpected. He would need to work on some new things once he got to his new lab , get everything set up properly.
Danny nodded in thought , listing all potential alien threats that could have infested the station. With any hope he would get to use some live fire. So far it had all been training and simulations for him since he was promoted and he was willing to use that in a productive way. Although the captain seemed to have put everyone on edge with that report he was good with it. A rescue mission and some protection for the rest of the crew. Sounded easy enough.
