The flower was in a way sentient and if it could think it'd be thinking along the lines of ''Yes come to my parlor ...I will grant your hearts desire'' As you see the flower itself has a need to grant wishes sure it'd drop peddles each wish till it no longer has any but that's the thing it needs to do that so as to produce its seeds … Regardless it was making its scent stronger and stronger as Hanks desire was getting more and more clear as things go on.

Regardless one may notice some other items in the mic like Pacifiers … Catalogs and even more such items that are either oversized young child or infantile items if not out right marketing for the items...
