There was an apartment, in Paris, where a boy was sitting motionless on his bed in his room. On the walls and inside a large bookshelf, there were hundreds and hundreds of pieces of paper, canvases and brushes, all in perfect order, but inside Nathaniel Kurtzberg's head chaos was reigning supreme. He suddenly shook his head, yelling: "No no no, I can't go there! This was a bad idea! I mean, me among so many strangers? For two days?".

Sitting on top of his head Orikko, the Rooster kwami, pecked him a couple of times. "Ohw! Ohw! What was that for?" Nathaniel stopped his whining and quickly shielded his head.

Flying through his fingers Orikko scolded him, crossing his little wings rather disappointed: "Just listen to you! You're worthy of being the owner of my Miraculous, Chat Noir himself trusted you with this opportunity, the whole Paris is thankful to you guys and here you are, crying about pointless stuff!".

Nathaniel pouted, fixing his hair in silence. While his kwami had no problems being the center of the attention, unlike him who was far more reserved, they both had a big ego and being reprimanded was quite a serious matter. But Orikko knew it was also the easiest way to get through his owner, and this time it worked too.

The red-haired boy stood up again and, reaching his desk, grabbed the shoulder bag he had carefully prepared that morning, a violet one with many black stripes over it. "I just don't know. I can see Chat Noir's point, but I'm not a group guy: I don't even know if I need to take something more".

"Well, you're an amazing artist! Take a pencil and a notebook and before you know it they'll all ask you to paint them! But of course, I'll still be the best looking one..." Orikko started to say, although he inevitably ended flattering yourself and raising his crest.

Nathaniel stopped for a second, thinking about it, before nodding and taking a new sketch pad, his drawing tablet and a lot of pencils, markers, pens and so on with him. He put them all in the backpack, closing it: "I just hope they'll find it interesting enough...".

"It's going to be fine, Nathaniel, don't worry! Plus, this is the best way you'll get to know your comrades, maybe they love to draw too! I'll model for all of them if needed!" the small rooster kwami proclaimed before hiding inside Nathaniel's dress jacket.

And with that out of the way, the two of them were now heading towards Chat Noir's place. It wasn't that distant from Nathaniel's home, so he was rather confident he would've been able to arrive first... which was better than arriving later, finding all the other heroes already there and feeling like an outcast. No, he was going to show them all of his confidence and strenght!
