The young girl crossed her arms as she sunk further into the airplane seat. She couldn't believe she of all people got picked for this stupid undercover mission! What was Winston thinking sending her? A world-famous icon and gamer on an undercover mission!


Hana Song, known to her worldwide fans as D.Va, kicked her feet up on the seat in front of her. It was two weeks ago that Winston picked up rumors that Talon was recruiting out of a high school in California. Of course Overwatch couldn't go into a high school and round up every last student until one of them spilled the beans. No, that would be too easy. Instead they had to go undercover and try and get information that way.



And who else to send but their youngest member? Even though she was 19, she could easily pass as someone younger. And of course she couldn't just live alone (that would be too easy) so Overwatch agents Jesse McCree and Hanzo Shimada were roped into this mission as well to be her "dads" and also help gather information. McCree got a job as the school janitor and Hanzo as a barista at a local coffee shop. They were told to assimilate as much as they could.



So here she sat, on an international flight from Gibraltar to San Fransisco. All Hana wanted to do was to text Lucio and tell him how stupid this all was but all three of them were under a strict "no messaging Overwatch unless something really really bad happens" as Tracer told them. Hana had to tell her fans she wouldn't be streaming and that she was going on vacation. Technically she was on vacation. If vacation meant doing something you don't want to do for an unknown amount of time.



Hana turned to Jesse McCree who sat in the seat in front of her, the one she had her feet on. "How much longer until we're there?" She asked for what seemed like the millionth time since they boarded the plane.
