"Be with my daddy" the young and pampered werewolf said hugging his vampiric father. Pampered having a double meaning here. The boy's growth was stunted so he only stood 5'2 which made it easier to see him as a child compared to the tall and imposing vampire lord. Pax knew what being with his father would entail. Boring and sometimes scary meetings, constantly being on the move, political dinners, or at worst a large gathering. But within those would be cuddling to daddy while daddy does big people talks, soft carage rides to new places he doesn't get to visit much, and getting fed in daddy's arms. For every bad thing there's always something good daddy does to help it. That's why Pax doesn't live a miserable existence.
