Meg Griffin had put up with quite a bit of abuse in her young life. But she had finally had the last straw today, when her whole family had humiliated her at her school festival. She no longer wanted anything to do with any of them, and as such, she had packed up what few possessions she could not do without and left.

Right now, she was on the side of the highway just outside of Quahog. She had no concrete idea where she was going, but wherever the road took her, she was certain it had to be better than home.
