[Chibi Tom]

Tom eyed his old backpack with great interest. It looked all shiny and new. Was this the surprise John meant? He didn't expect it at all, but he felt like he missed something. He took a second look at the backpack and noticed how stuffed it was. He couldn't tell what was in it though. "It's not filled with school books right?" He asked, scrunching his nose up in distaste. He liked reading and learning new things, but school was just so boring! Everything they learned was so easy, for him at least! The only good parts about it were his friends and recess. His mom wants him to study and do his best, but he studying got so boring. He figured he could keep his good grades and while still barely ever looking at his books!

His mental tangent ended, and he looked back towards his brother as he spoke. His anticipation and excitement grew. If John said he'd like the stuff, then it must be really awesome! He watched eagerly as John brought out the Paw Patrol toys, letting out a few oohs and ahs. He gave a big grin as John took out the Blue's Clues plushy. It took more of his will power than he cared to admit to not grab the blue dog plushy immediately. He nodded eagerly as John began to take out coloring books. They were his second favorite type of book!

He pouted and puffed his cheeks out, at the cute comment. "I'm not cute. I'm a certified big boy!" He insisted, trying to sound mature. Unsurprisingly, he didn't. To be fair, looking mature was hard to do when you're sitting in a wet pull up and cuddling a plushy. "Hmm...I thought all this stuff was special for me. Do you have some other little brother I don't know about." He joked, taking the offered small box, wondering what it held. He slowly opened it and let out a delighted giggle, seeing the brand new pacifier. He nearly tackled his brother in a huge grateful hug. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" He laughed, smiling as big and as wide as he could!
