Lab grown animal meat is being developed to one day feed the World, maintain the animal population and create sustainable biomes (See details in the following article with video at -> https://edition.cnn.com/2022/06/06/h...-wellness-scn/)! The "cultivated" animal meat will hopefully offer an alternative to plant based meats like Impossible Foods meat, Beyond Meat or other vegetable based meat products. The "Cultivated" meat is produced from sample cells extracted from actual animals (via biopsy) without killing the animals, placed inside a stainless steel tank, fed nutrients to absorb and allowed to grow for two weeks to size before being conveted into a finished, raw meat product that is ready to be consumed by people raw (tartare) or cooked (See section "How it works" in the linked article).

According to Josh Tetrick, the CEO of Eat Just, Inc., a California based company that makes plant based alternatives to eggs, "A single cell could make hundreds of billions of pounds of meat". The WIP (Work In Progress) food technology still has some way to go as the author of the linked article, having tasted "cultivated" chicken meat; noted that the texture and fibers of "cultivated" meat are identical to that of actual chicken meat but the taste is still "missing some element" (Note: There is also "cultivated" beef being developed [See pictures below]. Think Kobe beef, not just Wagyu beef! Prices could drop to affordable levels for one of the most expensive, prized beefs in the World! Theoretically, any meat including pork, lamb, goat, venison and etc., can be "cultivated").

Raw "cultivated" meat .

In the possible near future, you can eat a beef burger while the cow that it came from is still mooing!
