Rarity smiles upon seeing Sweetie Belle's delight on the mention of dessert, and she chuckles a bit as she watches her sister energetically look through the menu.

"Why so surprised, precious," Rarity coos, as she reaches over to pat Sweetie Belle's head. "I did promise that this was going to be the best week ever didn't I? And how could we possibly have that without sweets? Besides, you can't come to Manehattan without sampling the full range of culinary delights this city has to offer."

"Fair, but don't you think you should be careful?" A voice comes from behind the sisters, with a fairly patronizing tone. "After all you don't want to risk your model going on stage tomorrow with a too full stomach. Might screw her up." Rarity's eyes narrow a bit at this unasked for and less than cordial advice, but she manages to work up a smile and starts to turn to face the new pony.

"Miss, I appreciate your concern, but I can assure you a good sized lunch will be no detriment to my sister's.....You," Rarity stops short as she finally sees the pink earth pony looking at them. Her smile immediately contorting into a scowl. "Suri Polomare..."

"Oh Rarity you remember me, darling," Suri says with a tight smile and a sarcastic flourish on the last word. "Gosh it's been so long. Why I haven't seen you since....oh yeah, you darn near destroyed my career and stole my victory!" She grunts, scowling back.

"I stole YOUR victory?" Rarity raises an eyebrow. "Funny, I seem to remember it was almost quite literally the other way around. As for this, "destroying your career" allegation, I have no idea what you're talking about."

"Oh don't play innocent with me, little miss perfect," Suri growls leaning in. "Ever since that fashion week my reputation's been in tatters thanks to you and that traitor Coco telling stories about me. Hardly any pony wants to hire or work with me anymore! I barely managed to get an invite to this contest!"

"Well I suppose that's unfortunate, but that has nothing to do with me," Rarity says, maintaining a calm tone as she crosses her forehooves. "After all I fail to see how it is my fault that ponies are unwilling to do business with a proven liar, cheater, and thief!"
