“Okay, let’s go…” Max agreed, albeit reluctantly. The most logical thing to do was to go somewhere safe and wait to see if the transformation was temporary. But truthfully Max wanted to explore Ilex Forest more. If given the opportunity, Max would prefer to keep hunting that spiky-eared Pichu. Ultimately, though, Max’s sister was more important to Max than catching a single Pokemon.
“We’ll need to travel fast if we want to reach Azalea Town tonight. Otherwise we’ll be camping out here, again. Luckily my PokeNav should be able to show us a couple of short cuts.” Max pulled out his PokeNav and began walking in the direction of Azalea Town. A few steps in, he paused, a thought suddenly occurring to him. The younger (?) brother looked back at his sister, who was now diminutive in status. Her backpack was still the same size, however. After all, Celebi couldn’t magically choose which items to get rid of and which to keep. At May’s normal size, obviously her bag wouldn’t be an obstacle for her at all. But at the size of a toddler…
“Do you want me to carry your bag?” Max asked, extending an arm for May’s bag. Max already had a massive backpack, having been inspired by Brock to carry everything they could possibly need, but May’s bag shouldn’t add too much of a burden.
