Aoi took a breath in, shaking the jitteriness from her hands as she exhaled it out. Normally she was rarely the type to get this nervous, but... Today was different. Today, she wanted to talk with her best friend, Shuichi, about something that could easily make or break their friendship. Ever since they began to grow close, Aoi got to witness firsthand at the amount of work Shuichi had to do as a detective. It looked like a lot, but it was impressive, and she was of course proud of him for working so hard!

As time went on, though, it was clear this hard work was becoming less of arming his talent and more... Well, becoming a burden. Yet, no matter how many times she gently poked him to take a break, he insisted it was fine. Granted, she's never force him to quit, but jeez, he has days off for a reason!

So Aoi slowly and quietly put a plan together to help Shuichi, a plan that would help him relax and, hopefully, take some of the stress from his adult life. Standing in front of his front door, Aoi knocked on the door gently, moving her hand back to holding on a large, light blue box as she waited for a response.

"Shu-chi! Are you free for a bit? I have something to talk to you about real quick."
