Haku was outside already, not far away from Naruto's house, picking flowers.
It had been an eventful time for Haku, coming from a vagrant's life by Zabuza's side to her adopted hometown. For the first time in her life, she had friends, a home...the Hidden Leaf village had accepted her as one of their own, and Haku had to admit she loved her new home. The peace, the happy people...here she could even live without pretending to be a boy for safety, as she had on the road with Zabuza. And all because Naruto had taken pity on her.
Given that she was close to Naruto's house, Haku decided she would pay her first friend a little visit, but as she began to walk, she accidentally bumped into Naruto, getting knocked back a few steps.
"Oh! I'm terribly sorry, miss!" She said quickly, not recognizing Naruto at first glance.
