Matt cringed slightly, and carefully stumbled out of the seat and look at the other empty seats, ignoring the looks, and occasional snickering of the other children that were directed at him. "Um..Matthew...I don't remember where I sit..Why does it matter though?" He said weakly, forgetting to include his last name, and didn't realize he had made the mistake of questioning the elderly woman's logic. "And I couldn't help being late..I..Um..Overslept.." The little boy asserted, although it sounded like a blatant lie, which it really was, he certainly wasn't going to tell her he was busy cleansing himself of urine, that he had been laying in for several hours before waking up.
