Brad fidgetted uncomfortably as his new Mom was kissing his cheeks. Nobody had ever done that to him before, and he didn't like the uncomfortable residue that it left behind, as he squirmed backwards a bit when she did it desperately rubbing his hands against his cheeks to get the lipstick off. "Heyyyyy..." he muttered to try to get her to stop, but she quickly was already talking over him. She had asked if it was wonderful that she was his new mom. Was it though? The little boy just looked down..."I guess so..." he said, not knowing what else to say.
He eagerly went inside, trying to get away from the adoption lady, who he had been sort of "at odds" with since they had met. The adoption lady didn't dislike the boy though. Brad was a mischievous kid but he was sweet deep down, and his tendency to indignantly try to avoid affection was usually cute more than troublesome. Maybe it had something to do with Brad's childish face or his small stature. Or maybe it was just his deep brown eyes that always seemed so big and expressive. Brad looked around his new house, holding his pokemon suitcase in his hand, though it seemed heavy for him and he was by no means strong.
It was big....that was one thing. But it was just so different from living where he had before. He didn't know what to think and he hung back by the wall, leaning back against it watching.

(yea I think we can just all post as much or little as we want in no particular order...sometimes it might help to copy the message you typed, refresh the page to check for new messages it might conflict with and THEN paste it back and post it...or open up the page in another window to check for new posts or something. But even if two people post and it conflicts its easy to fix.)
