Bruce couldn't help but frown as the boy insisted he was fine. He could clearly see he was not fine! He didn't mean to frown really-- it sort of made him look cross. Bruce had that hard sort of face anyhow. Reaching forward, he placed a hand on the boy's back and stiffly-- slowly began to rub between the boy's shoulder blades. "...It's okay not to be fine, you know... everything that's happened must be very overwhelming," he eased. Though he looked quite rough, he was capable of making his voice rather gentle. Looking down at the boy, he continued to try and comfort the boy-- tried to ease him into dialogue. "If you want to-- or need to talk... You know I'm always just in my office..." --Or at work. Or patrolling the city in the batmobile. That was another story for another day though! "--My office is not off limits to you. You can come in if you need to-- eh..." He paused, rethinking that idea; "Just... don't take any of my papers or mess things up too much..." Somehow he imagined unfolding a legal document with crayon drawings all over it. He had to repress a chuckle-- as well as a stark feeling of horror sinking in the pit of his stomach.
