Viva shook her head and opened up her eyes peeking up at the man as she wiggled her way out from under the blanket, crinkling as she slide out. "Yeah, are you the worker person mister?" She asked, adjusting herself to sit on the blanket criss cross apple sauce, balling up the blanket she'd been sleeping under the settling it in her lap to lean on a little bit, quickly making herself comfortable. She hadn't been awake very long, he had good timing!

The toddler was pretty sharp on her feet. A smile crossing his lips, the social worker approached the little girl, as she repositioned herself onto her rump, cross legged. Advanced for her age. Adjusting his glasses, the man sat cross legged before her. "Officer Nichols said your name was Viva. Is that correct? My name is Mark Whitticker." Taking out a clipboard, pivoting it gently so that he may write his findings in his discussion with the little girl. As it was, from the initial report according to the officer, it wasn't going to be her home that Viva would be heading. Sad as it was, being predetermined made this rather bizarre child abandonment case yet another step in the routine for him to follow. Question her. Soothe her. Leave it be as it was.

Viva kept snuggling her blanket, of course in aware of her wet diaper. Not that the social worker could tell it was wet, but he could certainly tell the diaper by the crinkle and it sticking out from the top of her pants. "Mhmm, yeah that's my name." She told him swaying back and forth, deciding to get straight to the point because she was getting impatient at this point! "So how do I get back to being an adult?" She asked immediatly. "I mean like, being little is just weird! I 'unno what it was but, is there like a pill or something or like?" She started rambling on, expecting a perfectly normal answer from him!

The little girl was pretty funny. She continued to sway, and she crinkled even as she did. The vivid coloring of a diaper protruded from the waistband of the girl's diaper. "It's nice to meet you, Vi--" Mark began as he did with ever other child, when she asked a question most bizarre. Back to being an adult? A pill? What a silly little girl. Writing a brief bit of information down, he noted an active imagination. "Don't be in such a rush, silly," replied Mark with a skeptical smile. "Looks like you wore a diaper for nap time. Are you dry?" He was quickly trying to distract the girl.

Viva rolled her eyes when the man told her to slow down, why did she need to be slow! She just needed to be older again and get her car back and get this whole mess sorted out. But she blushed a little bit and was easily distracted when that sensitive point was pointed out to her, pushing the blanket down a little bit to try and hide the diaper from view some. "Well yeah, duh!" She stated, not even bothering to feel for or considering the option that she had an accident while she slept! No way that could have happened!

The conversation had been redirected from the concept of growing up for the moment to her basic needs. The girl was three years old, without her mother, left in a gas station. Whomever this mother was, she wasn't going to be happy later when they found her. Pushing himself up from the plush ground, Mark closed the gap between him and the toddler, picking her up without much clearance. "Well, how about I ask a couple of basic questions. What's your last name, Viva?" It was nonsensical to ask a toddler. Bringing her closer, it wasn't quite in the books to do, but this was a little girl whom had just woken from a nap. Many of them lied, and for her own good, the social worker checked her diaper.

Viva was a bit suprised as she was picked up, instead of wrapping her arms against him she just trusted his ability to hold her, leaning back so she could still look at his face for the moment. Her hand idly circling her mouth as on instinict her body wanted to start sucking on her thumb, although she was focused on other matters. "O'Hara." She explained to him, the red haired and freckled pale toddler, despite her suprising first name, evidently had a pretty easy to expect last name. "Hey, what're you doing?" She asked as her zipper was undone, and her diaper was prodded. Yep she was wet, but a wet diaper in the morning as fine so they could probably finish the questioning before she got changed.

The pallid tot allowed him to hold her gently, as she answered. "Viva O'Hara," he repeated as the clip board was set upon the counter top now that it was affirmed the girl was wet. He scrawled the name down, and nodded. "Had to check if you were wet, kiddo. Now, let's get to the next question." He'd have to check the actual records for a Viva O'Hara. For all he knew, it was a nickname, and it wasn't like O'Hara was a uncommon surname for the Irish. "So, how about you tell me what your mother looks like? Or even her name?" The kid looked three, but was relatively coherent in conversation. It was worth a shot to check if she could help narrow things down.

Viva leaned against him, kicking her feet a little bit as she listened, her thumb getting closer enough to her lips for her to notice, but she got suprised by it and pulled it away instanty, not really showing it much though as she started. "Um, well she's really old now, like 62 or something? She had me kinda late." She explained, running a hand through her hair as she said. "She's got gray hair that's kinda short, she's not wrinkly yet, um, she's like five foot four, um..." She kept going, and replied with a shrug. "I think that's it, sorry."

The little girl seemed inclined to try and relax. Some form of security, but rejecting it all the while. The social worker listened carefully, as she explained concepts that shouldn't have registered too well with a toddler. Maybe that was the point? A woman in her late fifties wouldn't be able to produce a child this clever by some sort of miracle. Adopted then? That made for some problems. "That's okay, Viva. That's a lot to go on," he explained simply. "I've got some news though. Tomorrow, we'll bring you someplace safe, while we find your mother. Would you like to see officer Nichols a little more today?"
