Zoelie Barbier, a journalism major at Sorbonne University, had been looking for an interesting story she might cover for her practicum class. She had been asked to look for a modern instance of a previously debunked practice, and she decided to browse the college's library for some leads.

(I would like this one to take the style of a thriller or a horror story, with a gradual buildup to diapers become the central focus)

Right now, she was looking in the search bar for something interesting.

As she had always been fascinated by the concept of witchcraft and the dark arts, she thought she might check to see if there were any reported instances of either in recent years.

Something then caught her eye.

Apparently, there was an old castle well outside the city limits of Paris. It had belonged to a noblewoman by the name of Clara Aubert. She had been alive during the French Revolution, though she was one of the few members of the upper class who had emerged from the conflict with her estate intact. The reason for this was supposedly that she had secured her interests through the use of sorcery.

Zoelie thought she had better go and see for herself.

She quickly packed a bag and went to her car, driving straight for the reported location of the old Aubert castle.

Zoelie proceeded to turn on the radio on the way.

She listened to the classic rock station for a while, before putting on something more modern.

After a while, she pulled up in front of the castle.
