"Well, it's a good look on you."
Cass, following Barbara's example, blurted something out as well.
"You... helped Barbara before?" She asked Dinah.

Barbara heard this and nearly choked on her breakfast. She knew what Cass meant by "helped" in this context.

Barbara wasn't the only one who nearly choked on breakfast. Dinah swallowed down the coffee, taking a moment to cough up something.
Ugh.
She cleared her throat, looking at Barbara.
"Barbara, are you... okay if I tell her?"

Dinah clasped her hands together.
"After Barbara was... released from hospital following what Joker did, she had to adjust. I helped her with that, not with everything, she set up the Oracle system and her network on her own, but the emotional and physical stuff was partly headed by me."
Dinah's eyes slowly dragged over to Barbara.
"What she's wearing now... is what the hospital issued her from those first few weeks."

"But why does she still have them?" Cass asked curiously. "And what kind of 'emotional' and 'physical' stuff did you do with her?"

"I... I kept it in case I needed them again." Barbara replied. "And Dinah helped me get used to my chair."

Dinah had to admit, Cass' curiosity could make things a bit difficult.
"Barbara had good days and bad days. Bad days are when I stepped in. Sometimes she'd be depressed, nightmares, the like? I'd tell her she was okay."

Barbara gulped as the memories of the nightmares she had about the clown prince of crime came back to haunt her. "D-Dinah helped me put more effort into my computer skills, which was how I became Oracle."
