Cele-Bi Annoyed: I'm the Younger Sibling Now! (private)

May and Max were together on their own Pokemon journey, after splitting up with Ash May actually settled down for a bit, they'd had a lot of crazy adventures, and it wasn't until Max was old enough to start his own journey that May decided to accompany him. Of course there was also an ulterior motivation for her going with, and that was because Max was going to Johto! He'd already been all over Hoenn with her, so going someplace new would be a lot more exciting. May was interested in any possible contests going on over there, but of course her brother was far more interested in the gym challenge, not that she was all to surprised by that.

However there wasn't going to be any start to that challenge right away. The two of them arrived in Olivine City, the major port city of the Johto region, May wanted to head to Goldenrod to see all of the interesting shops and such, and Max wanted to get started on training and such. Looking at the map the two of them came to an agreement, see, Max had already decided how he wanted to tackle all the gyms in the region, and it meant starting at Violet City. Normally they would have headed straight there, but there was apparently an issue with the path heading to Violet City from Goldenrod, so the only way around was to head through Ilex Forest and go through Azalea Town.

Of course they'd have to come back through Azalea Town if Max had to do Violet City's gym first, though May was hoping that he'd be too eager to get into a gym battle by then and they could easily take the hopefully fixed route back to Goldenrod with ease after going to Violet City. Max hadn't been doing too much training on the way to Azalea town, unfortunately a lot of trainers were more inclined to challenge his sister, and while she tried to turn them down, she didn't want them to just ignore Max entirely if she turned them away. She'd been doing more battling on this trip than him so far! Something she was sure he wasn't happy about.

They'd gotten into the Ilex Forest, a bit of a creepy forest, very dark and foreboding. May didn't like it one bit, an a lemonade she'd had earlier wasn't helping things either. They got to a bit of a clearing with a little shrine nearby when May couldn't hold back any longer. Excusing herself and rushing off to the tree line to relieve herself real quick.

May was more than a little stunned when, as she was finishing her tinkle, a Pokemon suddenly appeared in front of her. May barely had time to fish out her Pokedex that told her it was 'Celebi' which May was not excited about. By the time it finished telling her that though, May had been changed by the time travel Pokemon. No longer did she stand there in her usual attire, no, she'd been shrunk, no, regressed! There she stood, practically a toddler, thankfully her clothing had been altered to match, though the feeling of something plush between her legs was incredibly embarrassing. Eventually May waddled back out and explained what happened to her brother, thankfully they were near the exit to the forest into Azalea Town, but how was this trip going to go now?

For Max, this was the beginning of an a-may-zing new chapter in his young life.

From the very first day that Max biked to Professor Birch’s laboratory in Littleroot Town, Max experienced the difference between following Ash, May, and Brock as a ‘fourth wheel’ versus actually being a trainer. And it was night and day.

Gone were the days where Max stared at Ash and his Pokemon working as one to overcome tough challenges, or having to ask May if he could pet her Pokemon, or being helpless in the face of a Team Rocket surprise attack. Now, Max had his very own team, and they were precious.

There was the smooth, cool, Treeko, Max’s undisputed ace. Treeko had obviously been Max’s choice at Professor Birch’s lab, and it had been an excellent one. Treeko listened well and battled even better. What’s more was that Treeko seemed to like the way Max battled: testing the opponent with swift, nimble attacks before coming up with an ultimate plan (that, admittedly, tended to be reliant on setting up).

Max’s other two members were a Ralts and a Hoothoot. The former had been caught in Hoenn as Max’s first catch, and the Ralts reminded Max that he would one day need to revisit a certain friend to fulfill a promise. But it wasn’t time for that, because instead of traveling Hoenn like Max initially planned, the boy chose to accompany May to Johto.

May had taken a short break from coordinating, but she was raring to go, again. And, well, Max thought it’d be fun, traveling as equals.

Of course, traveling together hadn’t been as fun as Max thought it’d be.

May still treated Max like a little kid, and all the trainers that crossed their path defaulted to wanting to battle her. They didn’t even see Max as an opponent because of his age!! So while May hogged most of the trainers (occasionally one of them battled Max), Max was stuck with a boring, grinding way of training.

It wasn’t all bad, as Max had caught his second Pokemon, a Hoothoot. Max’s Hoothoot was a girl that liked headpats and sleeping on Max’s shoulder. Hoothoot wasn’t particularly good at battling, yet, but Max would do his best to train Hoothoot into a strong Pokemon; that was a trainer’s duty, after all.

Max was still salty, though.

“I should have travelled Hoenn by myself.” Max muttered to himself, watching a unique, spiky-eared Pichu get away from him. Max had been excited at such an encounter, wanting to raise himself a strong Pikachu, like Ash had. But the little scamp managed to get away, dodging all attacks with amazing reflexes, and running away with equally great speed.

Max looked around. “What’s taking May so long? Maaay, I’m going to leave…” Max trailed off, as not long after he said that, a young child that was clearly his sister toddled out of the forest brush.

After hearing the story, Max’s eyes were wide. “Wow, you met Celebi!” Of course she met a legendary Pokemon when Max wasn’t around, the young boy thought, his cheeks puffing out a bit in a pout.

Although… Max thought, looking at his sister, whose clothes matched her new age, maybe that was better.

“A-are you wearing a diaper?” Max asked, with a bit of a snicker, noticing the poofy underwear.

May was already in a rather sorry state because of what happened, feeling her face heat up as Max drew attention to how she was dressed only worsened it. "Th-that's not the point!" May exclaimed, flailing her small arms above her. "We have to fix this! We have to.." May trailed off, really she had no clue how to deal with this situation, Celebi had already disappeared and there was no way of knowing when it would be back. "I can't be stuck like this I mean, look at me! Maybe it won't be permanent, like, maybe Celebi was just playing a prank on me?" May tried to placate herself, thinking of how this could resolve on its own.

Of course deep down she knew that it probably wouldn't be fixed so easily, how would she get back to normal? Well, she had to get Celebi, and how did you get any Pokemon? You captured it, but you couldn't just catch Celebi with a regular Pokeball, maybe if you fought it, and whittled it down, and had a Ultraball, maybe.. May shook her head. "We, we need to head to the next town, and figure out what to do now." Maye said as she turned around and looked at the forest surrounding them. Before the forest had a bit of a creepy vibe to it, but it wasn't anything too scary. Now that May was so much lower to the ground, things looked way more foreboding. She moved closer to Max. "Let's get going alright?" She said to her brother, trying her best not to seem scared, though it was pretty easy to see she'd been shaken by everything.

“Oh, I’m looking,” Max said, a smirk tugging at his lips. He definitely needed to take pictures before May’s transformation wore off.

But jokes aside, Max did care for his sister. His expression became one of concern. “Hmm, I don’t think we should head to town, yet. If it’s not a prank, then we need to find Celebi so it can turn you back, May. If we leave now, who knows when we’ll see Celebi next.” Max pointed out. If Celebi was the only one who could turn May back to normal, then it seemed logical to Max to look for Celebi.

Although, if this wasn’t a prank, then how could Max force Celebi to turn his sister back to normal? Max glanced at the Pokeballs hooked on his belt. Treeko had access to Bullet Seed, Pound, Tail Whip, and Leer. None of these moves would do much against a Legendary Pokemon like Celebi. Hoothoot had Peck, which would be super effective against a Grass-type like Celebi, but Max didn’t know if Hoothoot would be able to take what Celebi would dish out.

“Yeah, maybe we should head to town. I don’t think I’d be able to force Celebi to turn you back even if we found it…” Max said, discouraged after thinking it through. Hopefully the transformation was temporary.

May knew her brother could be right, but then again, if Celebi didn't want them to find it, they wouldn't, not when you were dealing with a Pokemon that could travel through time after all! No, either this would wear off when the Celebi decided it was done having fun with her, or she would need to prepare to force Celebi to undo this. She was about to tell her brother as much when he seemed to relent, it made her think about her own Pokemon, and while she thought she could possibly battle Celebi, winning was another thing altogether, and then getting Celebi to actually cooperate was another!

"Okay. Let's get going then." May said, though she didn't begin to lead the way, things were still more than a little intimidating at this size, not to mention the diaper between her legs meant that she wouldn't be moving at a brisk pace even if she wanted to, not without trying to run anyway, so staying next to her brother was how she was going to handle this. They just needed a moment to stop and think about things, once that was done, they could try and move on, though May desperate hoped that this would just be a quick prank by the legendary Pokemon, something told her that wasn't the case though.

“Okay, let’s go…” Max agreed, albeit reluctantly. The most logical thing to do was to go somewhere safe and wait to see if the transformation was temporary. But truthfully Max wanted to explore Ilex Forest more. If given the opportunity, Max would prefer to keep hunting that spiky-eared Pichu. Ultimately, though, Max’s sister was more important to Max than catching a single Pokemon.

“We’ll need to travel fast if we want to reach Azalea Town tonight. Otherwise we’ll be camping out here, again. Luckily my PokeNav should be able to show us a couple of short cuts.” Max pulled out his PokeNav and began walking in the direction of Azalea Town. A few steps in, he paused, a thought suddenly occurring to him. The younger (?) brother looked back at his sister, who was now diminutive in status. Her backpack was still the same size, however. After all, Celebi couldn’t magically choose which items to get rid of and which to keep. At May’s normal size, obviously her bag wouldn’t be an obstacle for her at all. But at the size of a toddler…

“Do you want me to carry your bag?” Max asked, extending an arm for May’s bag. Max already had a massive backpack, having been inspired by Brock to carry everything they could possibly need, but May’s bag shouldn’t add too much of a burden.

May quickly began following Max, she had to hurry after all, she was so much smaller she couldn't move as quickly as he did. Especially with lugging her bag with her, which while doable, was starting to become more and more of a pain, which only reminded her of what had happened even further. "Right, the sooner we get out of here, the better." May said as she went. Though she nearly ran into the back of his leg when he suddenly stopped. "What?" May asked, slightly worried that perhaps Max had seen a Pokemon that might delay them, or even that he'd spotted Celebi, and that the time travel Pokemon wanted another victim as well, her being like this was one thing, but if her brother got regressed they would be sitting Psyducks!

"Huh?" May said, surprised by the question "Oh uh.. Yeah sure, thanks." May said to him as she struggled slightly to even lift her bag any higher as she handed it too him. After giving it to her brother she felt much sturdier on her feet, even if the diaper between her legs kept her gait a bit awkward still.
