"I'm sure, I'm sure." Twilight was growing weary of his asking. Why couldn't he just let her prove that she didn't need them, that she could do things her way. Also, the wink kind of creeped her out a little bit. "They're not going to find it because you're not going to get me one," she said. "I don't need them, okay?" She loved her brother and loved spending time with him, but right now she really wanted the bus to come.

Shining chuckled, shaking his head, "Alright Twilight, but if you have an accident.... , the bus rolled up. He hugged his sister, "Unless the. Princess is keeping you overnight, I'll see you at five." He patted her head, as the bus door opened,

"I'm fine, Shiny, gosh!" But Twilight reluctantly returned the hug. "I love you, big brother," she said. And then she scrabbled her hooves to gain purchase and pull herself up into the main compartment of the bus.

The bus was a rather large chariot pulled by two very official looking Canterlot royal ponies. In the main roofed area, Twilight found rows upon rows of benches with fillies and colts her age or older sitting. Some were sitting patiently and quietly, some were reading, some were looking at the window and watching the scenery pass. She didn't know any of them, so she tried to avoid making eye contact. She wasn't eager to be around a bunch of strangers. She sat down, not really paying attention to whom she was sitting next to.

The driver, his bus full, nodded. The cart began it's way to the School. Shining smiled, waving at his sister, once the bus was out of sight, he turned around, and headed back inside, waiting for his marefriend.

The chattering of excited students filled the bus, but Twilight just tuned it all out. She was here to get an education, and the fate of her education did not depend on her making friends. She was perfectly fine to just sit there and get lost in her imagination, wondering what Shining and Cadance would be up to. She kind of felt like maybe she had to pee a little too, but she wasn't sure, so she just tried her best to ignore it. She'd swing by the bathrooms once she got to school.

A pony that looked like an alabaster Earth Pony with a ruby mane trotted over, "Hey there, what's your name?" She asked in a chipper tone. Her forehead glowed, as she levitated her stuff over, "I'm Surprise!" She smiled warmly.

"Oh, uh, hey," said Twilight. She wasn't really in the mood for conversation, but she'd met enough fillies like Surprise to know that she really didn't have a choice. "I'm Twilight Sparkle!" She thought about making conversation, but the only things on her mind right now was her pullup change and her need to pee, and she was determined not to talk about her potty training. Only a little pony would want to talk about something like that. After a couple of seconds of silence, it clicked that Surprise, an Earth Pony, had just levitated something. "How did you do that?" she asked, looking closer. "Do you have a really small horn or something?"

"Twilight, nice name. " Surprise smiled, sitting next to. Twilight. "Huh?" She turned her head to Twilight, "Oh yeah, my horn didn't grow per say, it's pretty tiny." She pointed to a minuscule bump on her forehead, "But I can do magic with it!" She leaned back.

Even squinting, Twilight couldn't really make out the horn, but she trusted it was there. How else would Surprise be able to do magic. "Really? I like magic. What kind of magic can you do?" Twilight hoped that this was somepony she could actually talk to about things that interested her. Hopefully, since she was going to a magic school, it would be filled with ponies who liked magic as much as she did.

"I can do levitation, teleportation, and some basic combat spells, but that's about it as far as my family and I know." Surprise smiled, "So, how bout you, Ms,. Princess. Pupil, I bet you know all kinds of supercool magic!" She chuckled, "Who knows, maybe I can manifest more magic with training, "
