"I want to know more than that, if I just wanted to know you guys were off fighting, well, I wouldn't even need to ask to figure that out." Cream said as she watched Tails pick up a ring off the table. She was about to ask him what the ring was for, when suddenly Tails's words seemed to ring through her head, until she no longer felt like asking any question at all. But, why? She wanted to know what that ring did, but how did she word it like it wasn't a question?

"Forget about it," said Tails. He put the ring in the top drawer of his desk. "I have some ice creams in the freezer downstairs. I'll go get them." He needed to cool his head. Without waiting for a response, he left to get them their snacks.

Cream wasn't able to really respond to Tails, because at first she was going to ask him about what they had all been up to, but then she didn't want to ask again. As Tails went away she idly went over and picked up the ring. "Huh, I wish I knew what this ring Tails had was for." She said.

"Oh wow." Cream said to herself as she held the ring. Anything she wished for on this ring would come true? Such a bizarre thing. She wondered if Tails knew about that? Is that why Tails wasn't telling her what was up with the ring, cause he didn't want her to be able to make wishes and stuff. Oh what a selfish person he is. "I wish Tails didn't even remember I was here." She said as she began to walk out while holding onto the ring still.

Tails was digging through his freezer when he suddenly stopped, confused. What was he looking for? Why was he doing this? He had work to do. He went back to his desk to continue studying the ring. But it wasn't on his desk anymore. Had he misplaced it? He started digging through the mess in his study, trying to find it.

Cream left Tails's house with the ring in hand. Wondering what to do with it. Well first. "I wish no one thought it was strange that I have this ring." Cream said, making it so she wouldn't have to try and explain to everyone she happened to go by why she had the ring as she made her way back home.

When Cream got home, Marine the Raccoon was sitting at her kitchen table, eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. She was wearing her green jumper and black pants that did nothing to hide her bulky pull-up. She hopped off the chair and ran to her. "Oh, hey Cream! Blaze needed to talk to your mom, so I came too! She said you were meeting with Tails."

Cream was surprised to see Marine there when she came in. Though when the girl ran over to her, Cream quickly embraced her in a hug when she got near. "Oh Marine, it's so good to see you." Cream said then let her go. "And uh, yeah. I was at Tails but nothing really interesting happened there so I can back home, Tails didn't have much to say." Cream told her.
