Luke nodded in approval, although he failed to see he'd held the training pant out backwards..But then thought a moment at Connor's question on as to what to do with his wet diaper. "I gotta idea." Luke said, taking it in his hands.."Mommy takes it..and like..makes it smaller.." Luke recalled from his many times playing helper in throwing dirty diapers away for her. "And there's the weird trash can by the table.." He added, referring to the diaper pail as he attempted to sort out how he'd fold or roll the diaper to make it fit in there. "Do you know how she does it?" He asked while trying to fold the diaper a bit..

Connor thinks "Um...Mommy kinda liiiike...squashes it..." he said, making a squishing motion as if crumpling a piece of paper with his hand...this being his best guess about how she does it. "Like....real small then she 'fros it out." he says, thinking, eyeing the diaper sideways as he does so. He really doesn't wanna touch it. He's never wanted to touch a diaper that he's gone potty in. When he does, it just serves to remind him of what he's done. Touching the evidence makes him feel bad, and so he kind of side-steps away from it, hoping Luke won't need him to grab it.

He walks over to the door and puts his ear to it. "It's real quiet........" he says "Maybe they liiiike...wen' home or somefin...." he says a little hopefully, though he knows it's very unlikely.

Luke blushed as he nodded, understanding how his felt..Feeling a little odd in holding Connor's soaked diaper as he attempted to fold and 'squish' it as his brother said while wadding over to the diaper pail to see if he can make it fit..Ultimately giving up, and laying the wet diaper behind the pail and table, hoping that would be enough so the babysitters wouldn't see it...

After doing so, Luke came back over to Connor and hugged him. "Ya' feel better now?" He asked hopefully while patting his pull-up, "Did I do a good job?" He smiled, doing his best to ignore his own wet diaper he still wore. "Lest' just go back to bed..Maybe they did.." He said hopefully while taking Connor's hand, and leading him back to the bottom bunk. "Ya' wanna sleep down here?" He offered.

Connor nods his head. He does in fact feel a lot better...his brother having succesfully calmed him down. He picks at the front of the pull-up, he doesn't really notice that it's backwards. "Yea...just like Mommy doessit." he says, the biggest compliment he could think to give. He felt better being nice and dry. He was still afraid of course...the babysitters could still be mean...but he was less afraid now that the babysitters wouldn't find out about what had happened in the night.

"Mhm..." Connor said, as he held his brother's hand, following him towards the bed. "Wait...." he says, before scurrying up the ladder. It's a few seconds before he comes back down hugging Brownie close to him. "Okay...." he says, climbing in bed next to his 'big' brother, and snuggling up to him. He's quiet for a few seconds before softly and vulnerably asking..."Hey Luke...? Do ya think they're gonna be n-n-nice......?" His voice shakes a bit at the end, though he's much calmer than he was before his diaper was changed (even having removed his thumb from his mouth). He had his own fears, but he wanted to know what Luke thought. He trusted him.

"That's good..I'm glad.." Luke smiled, giving Connor another hug before he went up the ladder, and then got under the blankets himself, and found his own stuffed animal to hold onto when his brother returned, scooting close to him. Feeling his sense of security in having helped him, and having him there beside him. It almost made the own fears he had in his own wet diaper seem not so bad.

"I dunno..I hope so.." Luke mumbled honestly as he clutched his plush rabbit, and held Connor's arm as he closed his eyes to try and find sleep once again. Calming down in his own way a bit.

Connor felt safe nestled in next to his brother, dry pull-up under his PJ's, and Brownie held close. Maybe they'll be nice.. Connor, thought to himself...trying to reassure himself. And anyways....Luke's here. No matter what Luke's gonna be here. he continued thinking.

It seemed like Connor's nervousness would make it impossible to sleep, but cuddled up to Luke he found his eyes closing, and before too long Connor's breathing slowed, his face calm finally in sleep, as he dozes his mind finally at ease, his thumb resting loosely against his lower lip.

Luke sighed as he took a little longer to fall asleep, and rested a little closer to his brother, pulling the blankets over himself to hide his fidgeting and wet diaper before eventually following his example, and reassuring himself in his sleep. Almost hoping against hope that when he opened his eyes again everything would have been a dream, or at the very least it would be his Mother standing over him to take care of him.

Meanwhile, downstairs, 19-year-old Nick is walking around the house, trying to get a handle on the layout before he had to go upstairs and check on the twin boys that he would be babysitting. The house was pretty nice, though there were toys enough on the floor to make it obvious that kids lived here, and kids at a young enough age to be pretty hyper. Nick was a little nervous himself. He had babysat before, but never two twins. Still, he was looking forward to meeting them. He had always liked kids, and from the parents description they sounded like great boys - of course parents always thought that.

Sarah, a woman of the same age, and childhood friend plus fellow college attendant with him looked around a bit as well as she paged through the binder of information the parents had left after their brief talk. "Luke..And Connor huh?" She said to herself while glancing up the stairs. "I guess the boy's are still sleeping?" She said, having decided to take on the job with her friend, as they had the same courses in child psych. and development, and having always liked kids herself.

"Yeah," Nick replied. "Twins..." he said. "I wonder what it'd be like to have a twin. It'd probably be pretty cool," he said, just making idle conversation. "They haven't made a sound since we've gotten here. I know seven-year-olds, and if they're not making a sound they're probably asleep." he said with a chuckle. "Plus it's pretty early..."

He had known Sarah his whole life, and they got along well, which was good. Babysitting twins seemed like a two-person job.
