Eda the Owl Researcher (owl house RP with Perdente)
The town of Gravesfield was a fairly quiet and mundane place to live in Connecticut. It had a higher than average amount of local history and lore with tales of witches, witch hunters, and everything in between. Naturally at this point the vast majority of its population had relegated that stuff to old, irrelevant, or just completely ridiculous. Of course this in turn made it much easier for the woman darting around the alleyways on a dark spring night.
She's wearing a long red cloak, with a hood up that has a bit of reddish hair peeking out. She's also carrying what looks like a walking stick with an owl on the tip. After a lot of sneaking, backtracking, and looking around (most of which was pointless since there are very few people out) she hides herself in a grove of trees at the edge of her target area. Gravesfield University. Perfect place to find an unassuming human.

Luz Noceda, a girl not a day older than nineteen, stepped onto the outer edge of the field. She plopped down behind a tree, and began to read some old comic books from her childhood, an to eat what she had leftover from her earlier lunch. Her schooling had been rough, to say the least, but nobody ever said it was easy to learn art and writing. She doodled in her sketchbook, her aspirations and dreams swirling in her head, as she dwelled in blissful ignorance of her stalker.

The woman notices the girl immediately, and pulls out a spy glass of some kind, zooming in on her and what she's doing.
"All alone at night. Eating far too late. Doodling. Oh she's perfect," She chuckles to herself. Putting away the spy glass, she points out her hand and draws a glowing circle in the air. "Nap time, kiddo." She says, almost cooing, and a stream of glowing orbs flies toward the human.

Luz saw little more than a flash of light, before passing out, limp on the ground. Her body began levitating, now lighter than air, for easy transport. The stalker was ready to secure her prey, for ends that couldn't possibly be any good.

The mystery woman, upon seeing the human collapse, draws another circle and tosses her staff into the air. The girl starts floating off the ground, while the owl on the staff spreads its wings and swoops down allowing her to sit on it and fly over to the sleeping human. Effortlessly scooping her up, she flies into the air and towards the nearby forest. Once there she goes towards an old abandoned house, where she pulls out a key, presses a button on it, and a door shaped portal appears. She flies through, and enters a much newer, but far messier house. She then steps off her staff and slings the still sleeping human over her shoulder.
"Welcome to your new temporary home kiddo," She says, chuckling a bit as she heads for some stairs. "Let's get you settled."

Luz was barely regaining consciousness, as she found herself in the messy abode. Her mind was panicking. Was she being kidnapped by some weird freak? Was this messy bungalow their weird torture dungeon? Her body, however, was too tired and limp to respond. All she let out were mild groans, as she was carried through the house.

"Huh," the strange woman blinks in surprise at the sounds. She pulls back her hood, causing a giant plume of red hair to burst forth. Upon realizing it's coming from her "catch", she smirks in surprise. "Wow gotta hand it to you kiddo the last human I got took 3 hours to snap out of the sleep spell. You seem to have a tiny bit of resistance, very interesting. Gonna have to add that to the list of things to look into for your case." She nods thoughtfully as she carries Luz towards a door.

"Spell..." Was all Luz could manage.
She was slowly regaining consciousness as the mysterious woman approached the door. It was almost alarmingly pink, compared to the rest of the house. It appeared to have been painted that way, as opposed to the finished wood look that the rest of the house had. It was slightly offputting.

"Oh right, no magical knowledge, getting ahead of myself," The woman chuckles as she walks through the pink door and sets the still drowsy girl on a large plush rug. Once there she fully removes her cloak, revealing a bright red dress underneath. In addition to her red hair she also has a golden fang hanging from her mouth and pale white skin. She also has pointed ears and golden yellow eyes.
"Okay let's start with some introductions. My names's Eda, the Owl Lady. Human Researcher extraordinaire, among many other talents," She says with a slight bow and smug expression. "What do I call you kid?"

"Oh!" Luz says, "Well, I'm Luz Noceda, aspiring artist, writer, and... uhhh... weirdo?"
She was not bothering to look around the dimly lit room. All she could make out were the rug, and several shades of pink. She decided to continue sitting, curious as to what this woman was going to say next.
