i agree facebook and google are two different sites.

i'll be honest, its stupid to be upset by the tiny changes to facebook, everything changes, everything. so there is no point in being upset by it. think about it like this, if DA gets this upgrade, and it is a change for the worst, would you all still come here? most likely you would, only because there's no where else to go.

simply put, i don't care about the changes, i kinda like it, a lot cleaner design.

now, if you were asking about the changes to myspace... well, those changes are the reason i don't have a myspace anymore, i deleted all 3 of them because of that s**t.

so in conclusion, my thoughts on the facebook changes, i like 'em.

now if only they could fix the f**kin' chat... that crap thing half the time never gives me the messages people send me, which pisses me off.

i'll be honest, i rarely ever go on the actual facebook site, because i have digsby for chat, and that was the only reason prior to getting digsby that made me go to the actual site. thanks to one of my good buddies on here, i have digsby, so i almost never visit the actual site anymore, and when i do visit it, its for a very short visit, and then i leave.

so i guess in an actual final conclusion, i don't get why people are complaining about the changes to the facebook site, again i will say, EVERYTHING changes, E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G. i again say if it were HERE, Diapered Anime that changed, and you didn't like it, you'd still come here, and ignore what you didn't like, because there is no other site for this. so, lets say the change to Diapered Anime V.2 goes good, you come back, you don't complain. it goes bad, you'll be complaining for change, but you'll still be coming here since there's no where else. or you'd learn to code your own site, and make your own, which you have no guarantee that people would like it, nor could you guarantee that people would even go visit it. not to mention the expense of owning and operating a site, you'd need a lot of donors, which there's no guarantee that if you get people to your site, and they like it, still no guarantee that the people would pay to use the site, or even willingly donate to keep it opened, only because of the question "why?" if there are people who join, like the site, if they have no reason to do so, then they aren't going to do it. "oh well, if this site closes, there's still diaperedanime, so i'm not losing anything."

*deep breath* damn, i never knew i could ramble that much about one subject... and actually stay on topic.

I agree. I would like to point out that the change was so minor ... I didn't even notice it at first. I really don't see why people hate it. All it does is gives you a different display of current things happening with friends on your front page, I believe the most popular are more likely to appear ... woo ... such a big deal lol.

I hardly call it a make over ... more like a slight upgrade rofl.

there was some stuff on the news about the facebook make over, and when i saw that i was like "oh come on, that is so minor, why does this crap make the news? its such a minor change to the site and people are complaining so much that it actually made the news"

So as i heard from people facebook is going to make you pay to have
your account.

not sure if it real, i've only heard from family members/friends it was on the news.

I haven't seen this for myself.

and if you don't pay they will delete your account.

If this is true and does happen, not like i care because i don't use facebook and they can go ahead and delete mine, it wouldn't effect me.

if the rumor is true, and you have to PAY to stay a member of facebook, i will GLADLY delete my account before they have a chance to do so, i will never regret it, and i will never join the site again. i will personally tell the facebook staff to go fuck themselves, and i will proudly make a live upload for my youtube channel expressing my happiness for the deletion of my account, i will tell all my friends from facebook to add me on twitter, and of course they can add me now on any of my emails, so that we can keep in touch. anyways, back on topic here, facebook isn't worth paying for because the site always has problems, the chat sucks, there's tons of spam, viruses, crap like that.

Just a false rumor. Don't believe everything you hear. The way to tell something is false is to just think about it. Would it make any sense for facebook to start charging to have a profile? No. They would lose pretty much everyone. Then when you are sure it's false information ... do some research. However, this also showed me there are more changes to come that are not very minor. However, it doesn't look bad.

the reason i like google a lot more than most companies is because of how they actually handle any info they happen to have about you. you see, facebook sells your personal information to large corporations and really doesn't care much for privacy or security. google, on the other hand, acts like a black box between your information and other companies. they have never given any information away.

hell, their motto is even "dont be evil".
