(I'll change out the Warding veil for the Avatar of light veil, and send the resulting Lucent to go buy diapers. It does not need to sleep, and can carry 6-7 pounds while flying, so easily enough to carry a few copper coins to buy a package of diapers and bring it back. Cetishil needs a good nights sleep and an hour to meditate to do that though.)

(Well, it doesn't have a trait that says it passes through things, because that is actually a trait, so tiny rope and hook harness? And a tiny pouch to hold the money. 5ft of silk rope weighs 1/2 lb, a hook weighs another 1/2 lb maybe, tiny pouch with money another 1/2 lb, leaving 6 lbs to carry diapers with. Does that seem like it could work?)

(Yes, that'll work. Only problem left is that it has a 15 ft. fly speed. Unless you stop somewhere, I don't see how it would catch up with you.)

(If I bind it to my head, which I am going to do, I can give it more essence, and it can invest its essence into better fly speed. Since I can now invest three essence into a veil, with the binding it gains all my essence capacity boosts, and can increase it's move speed to 30 ft. And it doesn't need to stop to rest, so it might catch up at night.
I like it how the most complicated decision we've made is how to deliver diapers. XD)

(None from me. Shanara can't properly make a ten hour detour at our constant pace, even if she moves super fast for some amount of time. So seems like the best option.)

The rest of the trip is uneventful. It takes the group two more days to get to the capital. The shopkeepers in the village were surprised that a ball of light entered and asked for diapers, but let the light have a few diapers since it paid for them and was able to catch back up to the group. As you see the walls of the capital grow closer, having seen no group that could have match the elves leaves a good chance that they got here before you did.
