Regardless, it was always nice to actually be able to communicate with a conscious Severa. "You dozed off when you were drinking your bottle sweetie. I thought you would be more comfortable on the couch with me." She explained, fibbing a little. Cordelia didn't know how she could explain this to her daughter any other way really. It didn't explain why the teen was now cradled in Her arms like an infant though...

The girl was getting frustrated now; this really was starting to become an annoying trend. "I mean... what the hell happened just a few minutes ago? There's no god damn way I could just get knocked out like that so fast! Something happened... I just know it!" She said, using a few choice words as she started to grow angry and red in the face.

"Watch your language dear." Cordelia began sternly, giving her daughter a quick swat on her padded bottom to drive the point home. "Now calm down, you're only getting yourself more worked up about this than you need to be."
The motherly woman had a dilemma. Should she try and explain what was going on to Severa? Truth be told, she herself didn't quite understood what made the normally brazen tomboy regress to suddenly when she was bottle-fed, and why she was even regressing in the first place. Maybe it would be better to avoid telling the entire truth right now... "I...I just think you just get really relaxed when you get into the rhythm of drinking from your bottles. It's nothing to be ashamed of really; I can understand why it would happen. I personally think it's rather cute honey."

The girl squeaked as her bottom was given a swat. It didn't quite hurt due to the padding, but she could definitely feel it. "What was that for?! And... I don't think it's cute! I can never figure out what's happening when I drink from that thing! It always, like, knocks me out or something..."

Severa earned another light smack on her crinkly bottom for that remark. "That's no excuse to speak like that in front of me dear." Her mother replied sternly. The girl's words about her age were somewhat silly when taken at face value anyway; as she was currently cradled in Cordelia's arms in nothing but her shirt and cutesy diaper, after having just sucked down a baby bottle full of milk. Her pouty face definitely resembled one of a toddler's as well to be honest.

"Only if you stop using that tone of voice with me dear." Cordelia answered, her voice still stern. Her daughter seemed to be very fussy all of the sudden. The knight actually legitimately wished she had a pacifier to silence her right now. Hopefully she could get the bratty tomboy to calm down so the rest of the night could be a little more peaceful...
