Here the girl was, sitting in a crinkly diaper underneath her skirt while wearing a bib, a bottle of milk by her side as her mother prepared to feed her. This really did feel weird and awkward for her, even if no one else could see it...

Figuring that keeping her mouth shut would do nothing, the girl opened it and looked directly to the fork being eased forward.

"Very good." She said encouragingly, moving the fork into Severa's mouth and holding it there for a moment so she could close her lips around it. "Did the steak find out okay dear?" She asked, stabbing another piece and giving the pampered girl a chance to chew and swallow. Cordelia hoped that her love of cooked meat would outweigh her obvious displeasure of the current situation.

The girl, upon chewing down on the steak, felt a telease of juicy, tender flavor hit her taste buds. The displeasure she had felt moments before melted away just as it seemed the steak did in her mouth, her lips curved into a smile as she swallowed and opened once more. "Wow... this is... really good..." Severa replied. It was no secret that her mother was very good at cooking, but she could have never expected a steak this good from anyone at all.

Severa's mother beamed back at her. "Good, because there's still plenty of yummy steak left. Now, can you say 'aah' for me sweetie?" The woman replied sweetly as she moved the juicy piece of meat back up to the mercenary's mouth, feeding her another few bites and stopping every now and then to take a bite of her own meal. "Remember, if you get thirsty at all, just let me know and you can have some milk." She reminded her as she pulled the fork out again.

Severa didn't even care about the situation right now. As the woman said, there was more steak to eat!
Without hesitation, the girl opened her mouth and even said "aah" as she continued to eat her portion of the steak bite by bite. Upon having her mother mention the milk, however, Severa looked away from it... but occasionally she would take notable glances back at it as if it seemed tempting.

This was actually going pretty well. Like Cordelia had predicted, the stubborn girl had seemed to have completely forgotten about the bib she was wearing (which had defintiely collected a fair share of dribbles from the juices in the meat by now). It was weird to admit... but the woman was honestly enjoying herself as she fed her child piece after piece. Severa just looked so cute during the whole process, and seemed to genuinely happy with being fed food that she liked.

However, it was while she was appreciating how adorable the normally bratty teen looked when she noticed her gaze kept constantly peeking over at the baby bottle sitting beside her on the table. It was pretty obvious that she wanted a drink, even if she didn't want to admit it.

So, after giving her another bite of steak, Cordelia set the fork down for a second and picked up the bottle, holding the nipple towards Severa's mouth. "Drink a little sweetheart. Your food will taste a lot better going down if you don't have a dry throat."

Severa was caught; the woman didn't even hesitate with putting the fork down and picking up the bottle. Still, she tried to play it off. "Um... I'm not... really thirsty, Mama..." Severa whined. It seemed that she was going back and forth between saying "Mom" and "Mama", using the latter when she felt either really comfortable or, strangely enough, shy or timid about something, like she was now.

Rather than be stern about it, the motherly knight took on a more gentle and assuring tone, noticing how bashful Severa seemed to be about the situation. "Sweetie, you don't have to be embarrassed about. You know Mama won't judge you at all...I know you must be at least a little thirsty after all that salty steak. Can you at least drink a little bit for me honey? The milk is good for you, and I promise it'll help..." She said, sounding almost like she really was negotiating with a small child.

Figuring there was no way to really fight it, the girl just groaned and looked to the woman, compliantly opening her mouth while waiting for the bottle to be placed between her lips.

Giving her child another assuring smile, the woman eased the nipple of the baby bottle into Severa's mouth, glad that she didn't have to argue with her on this. It seemed like the girl was still getting used to having to drink from bottles for the time being. Hopefully she would grow a little more comfortable with it soon...
