Luke nodded "I heard some time after , not any details, kinda hazy rumours , but it was clear the Starks were back stabbed by house Frey , and in a way affront to all gods. But I heard lots , was it true King Rob rode into the hall atop a massive wolf , presenting the heads of prisoners to lord Walder to show his dominance over him?"

Gabriel chuckled, "Of course not, but I wish." He snorted. "But, after he died, he was beheaded, and the head of his wolf placed where his had been. They paraded him around, calling him "The King in the North" or "The Wolf King"." He spat. "The Freys, Boltons, and Tywin Lannister brought to ruins a noble house." He sighed.

Luke shrugged "can't preach about being a noble house. Being noble never fed anyone , or gave people work or a stable family. Lord Tywin didn't exactly inherit much in the way of nobility , way I heard , his father was a drunken craven who let his own underlings run the place ,one even cuckolded him and slept openly with the guys wife. Lord Tywin demanded honour on the edge of a sword." h said disagreeing with him. "I bet if Lord Tywin had the chance , he wouldn't have fought the war. It's done nothing to help anyone. The mad boy king is to blame for that. Should have just let Lord Eddard go , poor man was probably stressed to madness when he made those claims."

Gabriel shook his head, "Think about this. All of Robert's bastards all shared his black hair, yes? And we know that black hair trumps blonde when it comes to birth." He said. "Why then, would Robert's children with Cersei have blonde hair? I belive Jon Arryn, and Lord Eddard, were curious about this too." He said. "And, you have heard rumors, even among Lannister soldiers, of what Jaime and his sister get up to."

"That's not true , if it was there would be no blondes left , the dornish have black hair , the north has black hair , the iron born and the stormlands have black hair. Besides , I never heard of no bastards. King Robert was upstanding , and married. All this about hair , you sound like the mad meisters who think they can light dragonstone candles. Lord Arryn was ancient and senile , it runs in the blood , you head about his kid , mad as a box of frogs." he said , staying loyal to his own side "I've heard it , but I don't believe it. Queen Cersi is very pretty , she could have anyone. Why her brother when she mourns the king. For all we know they could just be very close , they are twins and both in high positions , it's good to share things in a safe environment. The same could be said for any siblings that spend a lot of time together, like lady Margery and Lord Loras"

Gabriel chuckled, "Oh Luke, you have no idea. Robert was like any lords or kings, drinking and whoring. Cersei had most of his bastards killed, so of course you wouldn't know, and most didn't know themselves." He shook his head. "Sir Galain and I once walked in on the king sheathing his sword into a wench, maybe two." He swore.

"Well, not me," Gabriel muttered, "But Sir Galain fought with Robert aswell." He said. "He went into taverns with the king and Lord Eddard. He swore that he saw the king bed many a whore." He said, crossing his arms

If we believed all whispers we heard the war would be an epic battle , the bloodthirsty king of the north leading giants and dire wolves , mind shifting shamans that pillaged and raped all who stood south of Riverrun. With all their family mad and backward. Over on our side , it would be the evil lord Tywin , master of trickery making a deal with the stranger to kill Robert and removing lord eddard. Using gold and sneaky cowardly tricks to buy out all honourable men." he said with a shrug. "Even so , life was better with the king alive, everyone was so nice with each other. I mean it would make your winters a little nicer with some southern wine and some warm food, maybe some firewood from the kingswood. We would get some furs to help with the cold." he said sighing "all this over a stupid lump of spiky iron"
