Seras sighed, idly wondering if it would be for the best if she were to sleep in the same coffin, with Gabby. But, then again, their home soils were completely different. And so, on a whim, she asked if the butler could transport Gabby's coffin, into her room. They way they wouldn't be too far away from eachother.

The butler, with aid from other servants, moved the coffin around to where Seras sleeps. The little newborn was busy being put to sleep by her mummy. Gabby's father Gregory is their primary target. There's no telling what could happen to Gabby on this job.

"Apologies for the unprompted piece of advice, Miss Victoria. However, your enemy has most likely been given explicit orders to kill Gabby," Alfred said. "You may not get much information out of him, since he'll be more focused on doing everything in his power to kill you."

"Oh, I know. Just grateful I'm not just good with guns, and have developed some vampire powers, as well," Seras said, sounding just a bit unsure of her ability.

The Hellsing Organization can restrain vampires, not just eliminate them. Plus integra can be quite convincing. If they can get him restrained and get the information either from his mouth or mind, then likely try to kill him, it will be perfect.

Gregory had no such intention of making things easy for them, however. If he did die, he'd make sure to go down swinging. Taking as many of theirs straight to Hell, along with him.

But for now it was time to tend to Gregory's offspring. Gabby rubs her eyes and clings tightly to her. She was starting to whine and whimper. She's starting to get fussy.

Seras gently hummed the lullaby from earlier to Gabby. Settling the pacifier into her daughter's mouth as she thought back to when her mum would do the same for her. Sans the copious amounts of babying, of course.

Gabby suckles her paci and her eyes get heavy. She lays on her mummy and starts falling asleep from the lovely song. She snuggles her Mummy. You could almost see little hearts popping from her head.

I wonder what mum would make of me humming this lullaby for her? Would she be proud? Am I doing a good job at this whole being a parent, thing? Seras thought, a little unsure of herself as she kept at it. Regardless of her self-doubt, she smiled through it. Grateful that the lullaby always seemed to work on Gabby.

Gabby slept through the day and only woke up to be fed and to wet herself. She didn't feel like rising from the casket until nightfall. Pretty much not until her mummy arose to greet the night as well.
