The Hero and Seven Demon Babies

[Neran]

Masuda prepared to fight again before she fell down to the floor, laying down on her stomach as the Demon Lord turned back to a baby. “Okay… learned something… guessing turning you….. back to normal… is… is tiring on me…” She said as she looked at the baby girl before her. “Guessing we’re stuck together…”

She would have killed her, but honestly she was adorable as a baby, plus, it seemed Masuda couldn’t use the Demon Lords power, but Jealoth could, maybe they could work together… maybe…

Jealoth wiggled her way out of the robe, sticking her head out. "... so I'm practically stuck like this?!" Jealoth screeched before gripping her head at its sides.

Jealoth curled up within her robes, overcome with shame. "Y- then slay me! Do as you had originally intended! Slay me! Spare me of this humiliation!" Jealoth demanded, "My kin are living lavishly, powerfully, enjoying the spoils of lordship! And now I cannot even hope to have what they have! I will never surpass them! I am not even on their same level anymore!" Jealoth lamented as she grit her teeth and clenched her eyes shut.

“Well… kind of…” She said as she looked at her before she paused as the girl started begging her to kill her, causing her to sigh before she held out her blade. As much as she didn’t want to do it, she DID kind of owe it to her.

She dove the sword into the babies chest and pulled it out, knowing it wouldn’t take long for her to bleed out. Only for her to get a bit more tired as the would instantly healed. “Huh…Guess… Guess I’m keeping you alive.” She said before she fainted.

Jealoth smiled weakly as the cold blade plunged into her chest, but it didn't even hurt. The moment the sword exited her body her wound closed. It was almost like the sword simply phased through her rather than puncturing her. "H- HUH!?" Jealoth stammered as she picked at where the wound should have been.

Jealoth watched as Masuda stumbled and fainted. Now alone with her thoughts, her immense envy was left to fester. She beat herself over the head with her failure, lamented being officially beneath the six other lords. How could she ever hope to rise to their level now?! As far as she knew, she was stuck like this forever! She could not even have the minimum dignity to consider herself an equal amongst the lords.

Equal... equal... Jealoth then had a revelation. She could not hope to rise above the levels of the other lords, but that doesn't mean she can't drag them down to hers. She grinned, her envy encouraging her to formulate a plan to realize her desires. Jealoth then sat up and scooted over to Masuda's body, waiting for her to awaken.

Masuda would end up sleeping for a bit, before eventually yawning and waking up. She stretched as she looked around before she noticed the baby demon lord and her mind caught up to her, causing her to smirk as she looked down at her. “Hey little demon lord, thanks for letting me live through my nap.” She said as she patted the horned girls head.

Jealoth grumbled and clawed at Masuda's hand as she pat her head, though it did nothing to hurt her. Her right eye twitched at being called 'little' and she was about to yell a myriad of obscenities at Masuda for demeaning her, but before her ego could get out of control and lash out, she remembered what she was waiting for.

"Human," Jealoth cleared her throat, "You will take me to the other lords and help me reduce them to infants, just as you did to I," Jealoth spoke as if she were in a position to order people around. "That is my wish, that is what will bring me satisfaction, and you WILL do it."

[Neran]

Masuda listened to her before she sighed. “Well… I was planning on defeating all of them… And it WOULD help me learn more about this ability…” She said before she thought about it and stood up. “Okay Jealoth, you’re now apart of my two party crew!” She said happily.

However, as this happened, Madura thought about something. “Umm… so you’re a baby now so… do you need a diaper?” She asked awkwardly, wanting to get that out of the way if she was gonna be traveling with the small demon lord.

Jealoth nodded in satisfaction, though her eye twitched at Masuda saying that it was her party. Jealoth was a lord, she should be the leader! But she let it go, wanting someone to share her shame fast.

However, Jealoth was beyond offended at the next question. "NO! I don't need a diaper! Of course not you mongrel! I should have your tongue for even insinuating such!" Jealoth screeched through grit teeth, all the while stamping her feet fussily.

Masuda covered her ears as she listened to the girl complain. “Ow! Well geez, you were acting like a baby in every way possible, excuse me for thinking you needed them.” She said as she looked at her bluntly. “And how exactly would you go about doing that? You don’t exactly seem all that strong right now.”

Regardless, she started making a plan. “Okay, so the other demon lords will probably think you’re dead once I start venturing from this place to go get said other demon lords. Meaning we’ll need to lay low. Meaning… does this place have supplies?” She asked the small girl.

Jealoth grit her teeth at Masuda accusing her of acting like a baby, but she decided to ignore that. Jealoth pointed to a door, through which led the way to where she kept everything she had ransacked from villages and townships alike. She was indiscriminate in taking everything, meaning she had necessities like food, but also things she deemed entirely unnecessary such as clothes she would never even wear. Jealoth began toddling towards it, but she kept tripping over her robe.
